Dress Code

God's Word tells us, "Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit?  Therefore honor God with you body." (1 Cor 6:19-20)  It is self-evident from this Word of God that all Christians, including boys and girls, are expected to be neat, clean, and modest in their appearance and dress.  Such things as tank tops, bare midriffs, mini-skirts and shorts, torn or slashed clothing, and T-shirts with inappropriate slogans or graphics are not allowed. Shorts may be worn during the months of September and May.   On warm days, in months other than September and May,  a note will be sent home allowing shorts.  Girls are allowed to use a moderate amount of makeup.  Boys will not be allowed to wear earrings.  Students are expected to practice good oral and physical hygiene.  Caps or hats are not to be worn in the school building. Flipflops are also not allowed in school.

Boots or a pair of shoes for outside must be worn when the weather dictates.  These must be left in the hall.  A child must have a different pair of shoes to be worn in the classroom.
